Interpreters for inter-active dialogue between children and the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General on Violence against Children

To provide simultaneous interpretation for the Special Representative’s briefing with children, in all UN official languages and sign language, (for one event during one hour).
The UN volunteer/s will work under the direct supervision of the Special Representative of the Secretariat-General on Violence Against Children (SRSG-VAC) in providing simultaneous interpretation for the event (Saturday 1 October,2022 - 8 a.m to 9 a.m) in all UN official languages and sign language. They will also coordinate with the OSRSG-VAC staff team in the Office of to ensure that the interpretations are in line of the mandate on children's key priorities and messages
Duty Station: Remote
Qualifications, Education and Experience - University degree on interpretation or language related fields. - Experience interpreting for online events. - Experience in interpreting for children. - One UNV would require knowledge of sign language
