This internship is being established to support the FSO Team in its important role as the focal point for UNICEF’s Trustee services.

How can you make a difference?

Main tasks:

  • Support the preparation of donor contribution agreements and drafting of supporting documentation;
  • Support the due diligence process for assessing recipients of allocations;
  • Support the disbursement process by preparing grant agreement letters;
  • Monitor and track the receipt of funds by recipients
  • Support the process for the upgrade of UNICEF’s transparency reporting portal and ensure that hosted funds data is accurately captured;
  • Prepare interactive charts and reports that capture the FSO KPIs from 2017 to date;
  • Support the Chief in the drafting of correspondence and other documents as required

To qualify as an advocate for every Child, you have to…

  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme preferably in Economics or Business Administration.
  • Have good writing, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Fluency in English is required.

  • Demonstrated experience working with and supporting the interests of children
  • Enthusiasm for learning new things and applying skills in an organizational context
  • Good planning skills
  • Experience in using and manipulating data.
  • Diverse, well-rounded interests and skills
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Strong self-initiative, creativity and ability to multi-task.

This position is a teleworking, and the intern is expected to use their own laptop for the work. Candidates legally allowed to work in the United States will be given priority.
