UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.

Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

For every child, hope.

Purpose and Objective:

UNICEF’s HIV/AIDS programming addresses HIV prevention, treatment and care for infants, children, adolescents and mothers. The intern will gain exposure to increase their knowledge of the global HIV and AIDS agenda including the use of data for programming and advocacy, the elimination of mother to child transmission of HIV, pediatric treatment and care, adolescent HIV prevention, and the integration of services within other programmatic areas including maternal, newborn and child health issues.
