Duties and Responsibilities
La Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe es una de las cinco Comisiones regionales de las Naciones Unidas. Fue fundada en 1948 con el propósito de contribuir al desarrollo económico y social de la región. Su misión incluye el diseño, seguimiento y evaluación de políticas públicas y la provisión de servicios de asesoría, experiencia y capacitación a los Gobiernos, así como el apoyo a actividades de cooperación y coordinación regional e internacional.
