Org. Setting and Reporting The incumbent is under the supervision of Emergency Coordination Unit

Responsibilities - Consolidate and analyze data on activities achieved by frontline staff in order to facilitate the preparation of periodic reports, (i.e., Monthly reports) and assist in identifying needs and/gaps, as required. - Design spreadsheets and/or brochures. - Assist in creating SOPs related to the use of activity info data base. - Overseeing reporting and data quality on Activity Info, in an accurate and timely manner. - Provide regular achievements reports using Power BI. - Design household visit forms and survey forms on activity info to better respond to Palestine Refugees from Syria’s needs. - Provide feedback on data quality and, in close cooperation with the Emergency Coordinator, support ECU teams in addressing gaps in quality assurance. - Work closely with the Emergency Coordination Unit staff in order to gather accurate data about refugees and assistance activities and provide comparative analysis. - Draft narrative and financial reports on contributions, in compliance with specific donor requirements - Perform any other duties as may be required.

Competencies - Advanced level of Reporting skills. - Manage priorities and accomplish tasks in a timely manner, with a high level of independence and discretion - Communication skills. - Think through all aspects relating to issues or problems; identify, recommend and implement solutions

Education - A university degree from an accredited educational institution in Data science, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related field. - High degree of familiarity with digital data gathering software packages (Activity info, Kobo ToolBox, or similar), data visualization tools (Microsoft PowerBI, or similar), and data analysis software (Stata, SPSS, R, or similar).

Work Experience No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Your training, education, advance course work or skills should benefit the United Nations during your internship.

Languages - Excellent command of spoken and written English.
