The place of work will be arranged combining the online and working at the office, subject to the discussion with the incumbent and the actual conditions in respect of the COVID19 regulations in Ha Noi and Viet Nam. Long Description ---------------- Working closely with the Project Officer and under the overall authority of the Head of UNESCO Ha Noi Office and direct supervision of the Chief of Culture Unit, the intern will perform the following assignments: 1. Support the collection and analysis of relevant data for project reporting of UNESCO project and activities in the UNESCO activities supporting World Heritage and sustainable tourism in Viet Nam. 2. Support the preparation and organization of training workshops, events and consultation meetings related to heritage management, sustainable tourism, community development, and capacity building for local site managers and community. 3. Assist the organization of field research and surveys to inform UNESCO’s interventions supporting the diversification of local community livelihoods coping with the challenges caused by the Covid19 pandemic. 4. Assist the preparation of project communication materials, including the items for public information on the UNESCO website and social media. 5. Assist the draft of heritage interpretation framework and heritage tourism guiding materials. An excellent command written and spoken English is required.
