Develop an online information platform for Child Protection materials.
You have:
- Advanced university degree in Information Technology or computer science
- Minimum professional experience of 2 years in ICT
- Experience in developing and designing online information platforms
- Excellent analytical and communication and writing skills
- Excellent oral and written English. Knowledge of Tetum and Portuguese is an asset
- Experience working in and knowledge of Timor-Leste is preferable
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other)

How can you make a difference?
Under Supervision of the Child Protection Specialist, develop an online information Platform were all Child Protection materials are integrated, and to have easy and direct access to materials and strategies developed in Timor-Leste and other countries, networks and alliances.
Work Assignment:
1. To design a proposal for an online Information Platform of Child Protection in COVID 19 context:
1.1 In consultation with the Child Protection team at UNICEF
1.2 In consultation with the different governmental and no governmental institutions, as well as with UN agencies.
1.3. The Platform will need to be accessible for the different users
2. Deliver an online Information Platform - Child Protection in COVID 19 context:
2.1 Online platform designed
2.2 Include the different documents and materials uploaded developed in Timor-Leste
2.3 Include the direct links with other relevant web sites, alliances and networks
2.4 Registered a domain name for the Online Platform to DNICT/MOPTC
2.5. Hosting space for the Platform for one year
3. Present the Online Platform to the government, Civil society organizations, academia among others
3.1 Online Platform handover and managed by MSSI
Deliverables:
1. Designed proposal for an online Information Platform that includes the contributions of the consultations (September)
2. Online information platform functioning with full access to any interested person (October)
The consultant will include funds for hosting space for a year.
3.1 Report of the presentation that includes: list of participants, pictures and a PowerPoint to present the platform (November)
3.2 User's manual and administrator's manual (November)
Duration of Assignment: 3 months (September - November 2020)
