How can you make a difference?

Under the supervision of UNICEF child protection officer the consultant will conduct in-depth system analysis of DMIS at the Ministry of Justice, to assess the current system design and its functionality against the requirements for the business model at the MoJ. The assessment will be also on the hardware. The consultant will then present possible solutions and recommendations to the MoJ. The assessment and recommendations should be documented in in-depth reports.

Work Assignment:

  1. Analyze the software and hardware of DMIS from the perspectives of its functionality, data process, the use of modern technologies, compatibility to other data system, and other technical requirements to be communicated with the Ministry of Justice.
  2. Based on business requirement for the civil registration at the Ministry of Justice, present recommendations and possible solutions for data system that will meet the technical requirement at the Ministry.

Deliverables:

  1. In-depth analysis report on the current DMIS, both software and hardware, covering system design, system architecture, and any issues detected on data process, data storing, and other functions. (15 days)
  2. A report on recommended solutions and strategies for the Ministry’s data system, including criteria for software development, strategical IT network and infrastructure system, backup and disaster recovery center, and identification of most suitable technology. (15 days)

Duration of Appointments: 30 days from July to August 2022

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • Bachelor Degree in IT engineer, System analyst, Software developer, or relevant.
  • Certification/Qualification in IT system analysis and system design, with minimum 5 years of professional experience
  • Certification/Qualification in software development, and/or business process modelling
  • Proven expertise in translating functional requirements into technical requirements, and vice versa
  • Track record of minimum 3 cases of a similar scope in the past
  • Experience working with the public sector client is a strong asset
  • Fluent in English
