Overview

Conduct analysis on the work and functioning of Resource Centres for Children with Disabilities in Montenegro.

You have:

  • Master's degree in education (including inclusive education) and Pedagogy
  • At least five years of experience in the area of pedagogy and education.
  • Experience in inclusive education will be considered as an asset
  • Proven experience of working on education, including inclusive education
  • Good cross-sectoral knowledge; education, health, child protection, and social protection issues
  • Familiarity with the local context in Montenegro is a distinct advantage
  • Previous experience of collaboration with the UN/UNICEF is an asset
  • An advance knowledge of English language, with a knowledge of any of regional languages i.e. Montenegrin, Serbian, Bosnian or Croatian
  • Excellent writing skills, presentation skills, strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with different stakeholders
  • Demonstrates tact and a high sense of responsibility and discretion
  • Demonstrates integrity and high ethical standards
  • Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability

Contract Duration: 4.6 months

Working arrangement: remote arrangement with travel

TERMS OF REFERENCE

This role will require to assess the functioning and effectiveness of the three Resource Centres for Children with Disabilities and their role in supporting inclusive education in Montenegro and early intervention services.

Minimum requirements:

Education:

Master's degree in education (including inclusive education) and Pedagogy

Work Experience:

  • At least five years of experience in the area of pedagogy and education.
  • Experience in inclusive education will be considered as an asset;

Knowledge/Expertise/Skills:

  • Proven experience of working on education, including inclusive education;
  • Good cross-sectoral knowledge; education, health, child protection, and social protection issues;
  • Familiarity with the local context in Montenegro is a distinct advantage;
  • Previous experience of collaboration with the UN/UNICEF is an asset.

Language Requirements:
