Background
On 1 Feb 2021, the Tatmadaw arrested Myanmar’s State Counsellor (Daw Aung San Suu Kyi), President (U Win Myint), several Cabinet members, MPs and civil society leaders, took over government and announced plans for a military administration and fresh elections. The reason given for these actions was the allegation of electoral fraud in the November 2020 elections.
The UN Resident Coordinator leads the UN Country Team. The Resident Coordinator System brings together UN agencies, funds and programmes to increase coordination and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of activities at the country level, helping the UN to be a more relevant partner for the government. The UN Resident Coordinator’s Office (RCO) supports the roles and functions of the UN Resident Coordinator and the UN Country Team.

Interested Individual Consultant must submit the following documents/information to demonstrate their qualifications:
- Duly accomplished Letter of Confirmation of Interest and Availability using the template provided by UNDP;(Please see Template attached)
- Personal CV/ P11, indicating the past experience relevant to the assignment, as well as the contact details (email and telephone number) of the Candidate and at least three (3) professional references;(Please see Template attached)
- S****hort cover letter outlining suitability of the consultant for the assignment
- Writing sample
- Financial Proposal that indicates the all-inclusive fixed total contract price, supported by a breakdown of costs, as per template provided.
Proposal should be submitted to (either bids.mm@undp.org or UNDP Jobs website http://jobs.undp.org) no later than 7 November 2021. Email submission should state procurement notice number (2021/UNDP-MMR/PN/048) in the subject line.
