Overview

Provide specialized programme and administrative support to UNICEF's programmes.

You have:

  • Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization.
  • A minimum of six years of administrative or clerical work experience is required. Prior experience in programme support functions is an asset.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
  • Demonstrates UNICEF's Core Values of Care, Respect, Integrity, Trust and Accountability and Sustainability.

Contract

This is a G-6 contract. This kind of contract is known as General Service and related categories. It is normally only for nationals. It usually requires 6 years of experience, depending on education.

The salary for this job should be more than 2,002 USD.

The salary of a G-6 depends on the duty station. The minimum salary there is 1,152,500 XOF (~2,002 USD) Please note that depending on the location, a higher post adjustment might still result in a lower purchasing power.
