Overview

Assist in scientific journal publishing and develop editorial skills

You have:

  • College seniors, and graduate students pursuing a degree in publishing, technical writing, communication with editorial focus, biology or other science-related fields preferred.
  • Experience with manuscript submissions and copyright agreements preferred.
  • Experience managing projects preferred.
  • Experience working with databases and electronic reporting tools.
  • Experience working with volunteers, particularly science volunteers.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate information accurately and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 8:30am-5pm ET or CT.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.
