Overview
Assist in scientific journal publishing and develop editorial skills
You have:
- College seniors, and graduate students pursuing a degree in publishing, technical writing, communication with editorial focus, biology or other science-related fields preferred.
- Experience with manuscript submissions and copyright agreements preferred.
- Experience managing projects preferred.
- Experience working with databases and electronic reporting tools.
- Experience working with volunteers, particularly science volunteers.
- Strong customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate information accurately and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 8:30am-5pm ET or CT.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.
