Overview
Gain hands-on experience in scientific journal publishing and peer review.
You have:
- Candidates who are seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in publishing, technical writing, health communication, biology or other science-related fields.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and organizational skills.
- Experience managing projects preferred.
- Experience working with databases and electronic reporting tools preferred (e.g., CRM tools, e-journal press, editorial manager, etc.).
- Excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Required Equipment: Reliable Wi-Fi connection.
- Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 9am-5pm.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.
