Overview

Gain hands-on experience in scientific journal publishing and peer review.

You have:

  • Candidates who are seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in publishing, technical writing, health communication, biology or other science-related fields.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing projects preferred.
  • Experience working with databases and electronic reporting tools preferred (e.g., CRM tools, e-journal press, editorial manager, etc.).
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Required Equipment: Reliable Wi-Fi connection.
  • Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 9am-5pm.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.
