Overview
Join the American Heart Association as an intern to support corporate relations and project management.
You have:
- College seniors and graduate students pursuing a degree in business, non profit management.
- Experience and/or interest in project management are highly preferred.
- Ability to deal professionally in a corporate or non-profit environment and assume responsibility for guiding projects and programs from inception through completion.
- Demonstrated skills in effective one-on-one and group communications and comfort with working with all levels of community leaders, volunteers, and staff.
- Demonstrated excellence in written communications skills, including writing on health topics for promotional or educational outcomes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities involving multiple entities.
- Must be familiar with software including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Canva.
- Required Equipment: Reliable Wi-Fi connection
- Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 9am-5pm.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.
