Our team and mission
One of the main missions of the Support Activities Contracts Service is, together with the ESA Technical Initiators, to issue open Calls for Proposals in the ESA New Member States and Participating States.
The resulting contracts and activities should develop and mature the Space Industry in those countries and enable them in the future to compete with the Industry in the more established countries in the large ESA mandatory and optional programmes.

Topic of the internship: Support in the contractual and procurement domain for the New Member States and Participating States
One of the main missions of the Support Activities Contracts Service is, together with the ESA Technical Initiators, to issue open Calls for Proposals in the ESA New Member States and Participating States.
The resulting contracts and activities, should develop and mature the Space Industry in those countries and enable them in the future to compete with the Industry in the more established countries in the large ESA mandatory and optional programmes.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- supporting the preparation of documentation for Calls for Proposals and Invitation to Tenders (e.g. draft contract, cover letter and proposal template);
- preparing minutes of relevant meetings;
- assisting in the preparation of contractual documentation for Calls for Proposals and Invitation to Tenders;
- providing administrative support to Contracts Officers and Assistant Contracts Officers.

Education
You must be a university student, preferably studying at master’s level. In addition, you must be able to prove that you will be enrolled at your University for the entire duration of the internship.
Additional requirements
The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another ESA Member State language is an asset.

Knowledge and background in Law, Finance and/or Procurement is an asset.
