This position is based at the ESA Centre for Earth Observation (ESRIN) - Frascati, Italy
The ESA Brand Outreach Office is responsible for ensuring the development, implementation, deployment and global coordination of the ESA Brand through the appropriate outreach vehicles. As such it ensures proper coordination within the Communication Department for the implementation and compliance of the ESA Brand and its related corporate messaging and narrative. In particular, it is in charge of the ESA Brand’s deployment through ESA merchandising activities and ESA communication partnerships.

Field(s) of activity for the internship
Topic of the internship: Marketing, Merchandising & Logistics Projects Development
Reporting directly to the Head of the ESA Brand Outreach Office of the ESA Communication Department, you will support the merchandising activities of the office.
- Supporting the development of an ESA Space Shop website selling ESA-branded merchandise: This includes performing benchmark analysis of market trends, developing briefs as needed for the different relevant interlocutors, and supporting the development of new collections;
- Category management & logistics: Supporting the replenishment strategy of items for online and physical shops based on sales data collected and performance analysis. This includes coordinating the logistics aspects linked to the physical shops, existing and new;
- Digital marketing: Supporting the communication of the ESA Space Shop on different social media channels and newsletters, liaising with relevant interlocutors inside and outside ESA. This includes, but is not limited to, the development of digital campaigns, the organization of photo shootings, and the development of posts for Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn targeting both B2C and B2B customers.

Education
You must be a university student, preferably in your final or second-to-last year of a university course at Master’s level and you need to remain enrolled at your University for the entire duration of the internship.
Additional requirements
The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset.
Knowledge and background in marketing, digital marketing, project management is an asset.
