Overview
Intern in Healthy Living for public health program development.
You have:
- Candidates who are seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in nutrition science, journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or localization/translation with an interest in non-profit and health care communications.
- Knowledge in the field of public health and health literacy.
- Familiarity with policy, systems and environment approach to transformational change.
- Demonstrated skills in research such as market research, environmental scans, etc.
- Demonstrated skills in written communications, including ability to translate dense content into easy to read and understand versions and formats for various audience such as consumers or executive leadership.
- Ability to build and cultivate relationships with internal and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written community.
- Strong organizational skills and willingness to support administrative tasks as needed.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs.
- Ability to function with flexibility and at times autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable Wi-Fi connection.
- Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 9am-5pm.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.
