Lead and manage CBE transitions into formal schools successfully

You have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of technical development and implementation experience focused on Community Based Education (CBE), and the effective transitions of CBE learners into formal schools in the education sector in Afghanistan
  • Experience with capacity building support for national partners in program management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, master's degree is preferable, in education
  • Experience with community-based education and education formal system support
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills in Pashto, Dari and English
  • Willing to travel and conduct field visits regularly

Job Description

- Supporting the development, adaptation and delivery of key IR3 technical resources, including: learning benchmarks for CBEs; transition plans for CBEs; - Support the development and oversight of effective and transparent targeting criteria for CBE’s to receive continued support under AQBE; - Support the technical standardization of assessment tools and resources required to effectively target CBE’s for continued support under AQBE; - Support the technical development and rollout of learning benchmarks for CBEs, to ensure a shared understanding of learning progress for multiple stakeholders involved with CBE transitions into formal school

Qualifications

- Minimum 3-5 years of technical development and implementation experience focused on Community Based Education (CBE), and the effective transitions of CBE learners into formal schools in the education sector in Afghanistan - Experience with capacity building support for national partners in program management - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, master’s degree is preferable, in education - Experience with community-based education and education formal system support - Excellent communication and coordination skills - Excellent communication skills in Pashto, Dari and English. - Wiling to travel and conduct field visits regularly.
