Design and develop engaging instructional content for Global Finance.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 2-4 years' experience in instructional design with demonstrated knowledge of ISD processes and technology
  • High fluent level of professional and technical English, spoken and written
  • Proficiency in Spanish, French or other language is an added advantage
  • Ability to carry out ADDIE processes fundamental to ID
  • Experience working with Adobe Captivate, Rise, Articulate, Raptivity, Camtasia or other course authoring software required
  • Capacity to work from home, requiring flexibility in working hours over a range of WV time zones
  • Willingness to travel nationally and/or internationally up to 10% of the time

JOB PURPOSE

Under the direction of the Sr. Instructional Designer: Participate in needs analysis. Design, develop, assess, and continuously improve high-quality, learner-centric courses / modules that build the performance capabilities of Global Finance managers and technical experts. Design / develop engaging multimedia and other learning assets, to support learning within Global Finance programmes / courses. Track and periodically report both administrative and learning analytics for all Global Finance programmes.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and continuously improve instructional content for an online and/or blended learning format using ADDIE, SAM, and /or agile instructional delivery methods. Design / develop various types of multimedia learning assets (ex. videos, graphics, games, etc.), to enhance engagement and learning. Ensure participant assessments and course evaluation tools measure both course completion and learning (Kirkpatrick Levels 1&2).
  • Collaborate with Programme Owners and SME's to identify course / module-level learning outcomes, essential content. and most appropriate course / module assessment methodology. Develop and revise storyboards, as needed, based on feedback.
  • Provide advice and guidance on best practice for attaining learning objectives and use of appropriate technology for delivery, including design software (Rise, StoryLine, etc.) and platform (LMS).
  • Set out an annual schedule to review and update existing content. Conduct needs analysis with Regional Finance and SCM to identify new topics to be included in existing content, and prioritise development based on risk, policy updates, structural changes, etc.
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 2-4 years' experience in instructional design with demonstrated knowledge of ISD processes and technology.
  • Ability to carry out analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation (ADDIE) processes that are fundamental to ID.
  • Experience working with Adobe Captivate, Rise, Articulate, Raptivity, Camtasia or other course authoring software required.

Preferred skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Moodle experience is a plus.

Language Requirements:

  • High fluent level of professional and technical English, spoken and written. Proficiency in Spanish, French or other language is an added advantage.

Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement:

  • Capacity to work from home, requiring flexibility in working hours over a range of WV time zones, and to do so effectively.
  • The position requires the ability and willingness to travel nationally and/or internationally up to 10% of the time.
