Overview

Support the preparation of reports and documentation for COVID-19.

You have:

• Minimum age: 22 years old.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area, e.g. social sciences, communications, international development or related areas.
• At least 2 years of professional work experience at the national and/or international level.
• Experience with information management and reporting is an asset.
• Mandatory language: English - Fluent.
• Optional language: French - Working Knowledge.

Contract

This is a UNV National Specialist contract. This kind of contract is known as National UN Volunteer. It is normally only for nationals. More about UNV National Specialist contracts.

Eligibility criteria

Minimum age: 22 years old. Applicants must be nationals of or legal residents in the country of assignment.

Description of task

Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of the Head of Office or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UNV Information Manager will:

• Support the preparation of monthly Country Briefs (CBs) and Annual Country Reports (ACRs) for the Annual Reporting Exercise in collaboration with the country office communications, programme, partnership, M&E and resource management functions;
• Draft monthly COVID-19 situation reports (sit-reps);
• Support the development of thematic factsheets;
• Participate in and document meetings related to COVID-19 and other topics;
• Contribute to the reporting on COVID-19 related activities, such as those related to the joint programme with other UN agencies in Tunisia under the UN COVID-19 multi-partner trust fund (MPTF);
• Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required degree level:

Bachelor degree or equivalent

Education - Additional Comments:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area, e.g. social sciences, communications, international development or related areas;

Required experience:

24 Months

Experience remark:

• At least 2 years of professional work experience at the national and/or international level;
• Experience with information management and reporting is an asset;
• Have affinity with or interest in food security, nutrition and/or social protection, volunteerism as a mechanism for durable development, and the UN System.

Language skills:

• English(Mandatory), Level - Fluent
• French(Optional), Level - Working Knowledge
