Key Responsibilities:

The purpose of this position is to ensure that meaningful program information from internal and external sources are collected and centralized in a timely manner within WV Lebanon to support decision making, evidence generation and stronger positioning of WV Lebanon.

Handle Information Management and Reporting:

  • Support IMOs in developing standardized appropriate templates for data collection, beneficiary records. Approve the developed templates and identify information gaps where needed.
  • Ensure that templates are updated for accurate data collection and data tracking in coordination with the MEL department and with IMOs.
  • Support the MEL team in creating appropriate templates for their activities.
  • Support all areas in creating appropriate tool (ADP Budget, Partnership database. Accountability System Database etc.)
  • Ensure that a centralized database is in place allowing reporting and responding on different requests.
  • Oversee IMOs to ensure quality of the data as well as contribute in identifying operational gaps on monthly basis.
  • Produce and file statistical and graphical reports when needed.
  • Ensure the oversight of monthly external reporting by IMOs.
  • Refer trainings related to ActivityInfo to the relevant staff accordingly.
  • Coordinate with different departments to obtain various ActivityInfo inputs in a timely manner.
  • Attend trainings on the different tools, active participation to IM working group meetings and proactively gather information from relevant cluster partners and sectors working groups and disseminate it to the relevant staff.
  • Deal with beneficiaries information in strict confidentiality.

Horizon Coordination:

  • Create Programme and project profiles for newly acquired projects.
  • Provide support in reporting, project tracking and data analysis on Horizon.
  • Coordinate with regional office on WVL’s needs in terms of capacity building and support to ensure Horizon is efficient and managed in compliance with WVI requirements.
  • Ensure that reporting on Horizon by relevant staff is conducted in a timely and high quality manner.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to field staff when needed.
  • Refer trainings related to Horizon to the relevant staff accordingly.
  • Provide regular updates to SMT and regional offices on the roll-out of Horizon

Ensure Staff Management and Capacity Building:

  • Develop JDs and recruit staff whenever needed in coordination with P&C department
  • Manage the performance of direct reports with continuous feedback to ensure proper performance management.
  • Develop teamwork among the IM Unit to ensure a conducive working atmosphere is created and opportunities provided to share lessons learned, experiences, observations and challenges.
  • Plan and provide opportunities for capacity building to IM team in consultation with P&C Department to ensure coordinated technical and personal development.

Research and Data Analysis:

  • Support the Research and Data Analyst in conducting robust and in-depth statistical analysis for the data collected from research studies, using the analysis plan drafted.
  • Support the Research and Data Analyst in conducting in-depth statistical analysis for internally-led baselines, evaluations, outcome monitoring studies.

Perform other duties as required

  • Attend and participate in WVL’s spiritual nurture and other organizational events
  • Responsible of own security and actively contribute to a positive security culture
  • Report CP incidents as per the safeguarding policy guidelines.
  • Abide by the security policies and procedures and report any incidents or breaches to line manager and / or security manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Line Manager

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • 2 – 3 years of Previous experience in managing organizational data of different projects
  • Previous experience in mapping workflows, information and processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with online databases and GIS application

  • Bachelor degree in Software Engineer, Data Analysis or any relevant field of study

  • Ability to consolidate information into visual presentations (factsheets, charts, graphs, tables)
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge or Arabic language is an added advantage.
  • MBA or related master degree preferred
