Who are we?

This job is in the Division for Effectiveness, Knowledge and Learning in Programme, Policy and External Relations? (PPE). We work around evidence; its analysis, documentation, and sharing. We host global advisors for programme results and monitoring, for data collection and data analysis, for accountability to people, aid transparency, and evaluation. The technical expertise covers the full spectrum of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), we provide technical support to DRC’s operations and builds capacity of staff in these areas. The division manages the evaluation function for DRC and leads on DRC’s commitment to the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) and the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI).

About the job

Under the guidance of the Global MEAL team, the role of the Global Information Management (IM)/Organizational Learning Specialist will be to implement key activities related to Information Management and Learning, and to provide coordination and expertise to the portfolio, supporting the role of MEAL in the wider Information Management and Organizational Learning sphere in DRC.

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to combine experience and training in managing data (qualitative and quantitative) and being comfortable with handling various data platforms with a proven ability to conceptualize these solutions towards organizational learning. We would also require you to have some experience in organizing and managing global webinars, online events, or similar.

Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field, information-management related under-graduate or post-graduate education a distinct advantage

Desirable

  • specific experience with the handling of IM-related data in DRC (results and similar data)

We offer

Contract length: permanent contract

Work place: Borgergade 10

Start date: 1st January 2024

The post is located in our HQ in Denmark and the incumbent is expected to be based there. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and AC at “fuldmægtig” level. This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply.
