Overview

Provide administrative support for UN meetings and events.

You have:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Two years of experience in general office support or related area are required.
  • Experience in servicing official UN meetings is desirable.
  • Work experience with online meeting platforms is desirable.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of another official UN language is an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

Purpose of the assignment: To provide administrative support to officers of ITLD in servicing UNCITRAL Working Group sessions and a Colloquium to be held at UN Headquarters New York in 2026: 53rd session of Working Group III (ISDS Reform), 12-16 January 2026. Colloquium, 10-13 February 2026. 83rd session of Working Group II (Dispute Settlement) and the Colloquium, 16-20 February 2026. 70th session of Working Group IV (Electronic Commerce) 23-27 March 2026. 68th session of Working Group V (Insolvency Law) and the Colloquium, 13-17 April 2026. 48th session of Working Group VI (Negotiable Cargo Documents), 20-24 April 2026. 59th Commission Session, 22 June to 10 July 2026.

Qualifications/special skills

High school diploma is required. Two years of experience in general office support or related area are required. Experience in servicing official UN meetings is desirable. Work experience with online meeting platforms is desirable.

Languages

English and French are the official languages of the UN Secretariat. For this assignment fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language is an advantage.
