You have:
- A first-level university degree in economics, business administration, international relations or a related field is required.
- A minimum of one year work experience in general office support and/or meeting service is required.
- Proficient use of MS Suite particularly Excel spreadsheet and Powerpoint is required.
- Experience in conference and video conference support, particularly with conference features of MS Teams, Zoom, Webex or other similar platforms is required.
- Fluency in both oral and written English is required.
- UN certification in Infrastructure Asset Management (IAM) is desirable.

Result of Service
The Individual Contractor is expected to organize a successful two-day virtual workshop in four (4) Caribbean countries - Belize, The Bahamas, Jamaica and St Vincent and the Grenadines - to boost the resilience of infrastructure assets and planned large-scale infrastructure investments through risk-informed informed infrastructure asset management policies and practices.

Duties and Responsibilities
The position is located in the International Tax and Development Cooperation Branch (ITDCB) in the Financing for Sustainable Development Office (FSDO) of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs. The Branch provides policy and capacity building support on international tax cooperation; serves as secretariat to the UN Committee of Experts on International Cooperation in Tax Matters (the “Committee”) and to the Development Cooperation Forum (DCF); and coordinates FSDO capacity development programme in support of country efforts to mobilize and manage financing for development and other means of implementation, including through effective infrastructure asset management, to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Addis Ababa Action Agenda on Financing for Sustainable Development. The incumbent reports to the Senior Economic Affairs Officer of the International Tax and Development Cooperation Under the supervision of the Senior Economic Affairs Officer within the International Tax and Development Cooperation Branch (ITDCB), Financing for Sustainable Development Office (FSDO), the individual contractor will be responsible for the following work assignments: 1. Assist in coordinating the customized four (4) two-day virtual sensitization workshops. 2. Assist in organizing virtual meetings of resource persons/instructors in preparation for the virtual workshops. 3. Assist in drafting agendas, formatting, and preparing workshop materials. 4. Assist instructors in preparing workshop content, such as converting information into infographics and conducting research on the latest developments in infrastructure asset management. 5. Assist in designing individual, partner, and group exercises to promote interactivity and engagement among participants. 6. Provide feedback on the design and content of teaching materials (slides, exercises, assignments) to enhance quality, clarity, consistency, and visual appeal. 7. Prepare and maintain an up-to-date list of participants and communicate with participants before and after the workshops. 8. Draft promotional and communications materials, such as news articles, social media posts, and online fliers. 9. Prepare pre-workshop surveys via SurveyMonkey and disseminate them to prospective participants. 10. Assist in preparing the run-of-show for the sessions to ensure smooth execution of the workshops. 11. Assist in delivery of the virtual workshops in Q4 2025. 12. Provide logistical and IT support to instructors and panelists, including test runs on the selected platform. 13. Assist in follow-up activities for the workshops. 14. Prepare post-workshop surveys via SurveyMonkey and follow-up materials for participants. 15. Assist in organizing internal and external communications with government representatives of beneficiary countries, UN system partners, and other stakeholders. 16. Disseminate outreach materials and presentation content to beneficiary governments and partners. 17. Perform other tasks in support of the four (4) two-day virtual workshops.
