You have:

  • At least 3-year professional experience in related fields required.
  • Professional experience with international organizations desirable.
  • Fluency in Japanese required.
  • Working knowledge of English required.
  • University degree desirable.

Result of Service -Completion of a stock of compelling photos capturing the current status of SDGs in Japan, including climate change;¿

- Completion of a stock of compelling photos capturing the current status of SDG agenda closely related to activities of UN agencies based in Japan;¿

- Completion of the delivery of visual products, such as social media cards, as needed¿ - UNIC Tokyo’s messages reach target audience effectively¿

- Delivery of visual storytelling on UNIC Tokyo website and social media platforms, as needed¿

- UNIC Tokyo’s messages reach target audience effectively¿

Work Location Tokyo

Expected duration 3 months (October – December 2022)

Duties and Responsibilities Under the supervision of UNIC Tokyo, in particular the Digital Campaigns Officer and social media focal point, the individual contractor will perform the following tasks:¿

Take compelling photos capturing the current status of SDGs in Japan, including climate change;¿

Take compelling photos capturing the current status of SDG agenda closely related to activities of UN agencies based in Japan;¿

Produce visual products based on the photos taken, such as social media cards, as needed;

Produce visual-driven stories on UNIC Tokyo website and social media platforms, as needed¿

Qualifications/special skills Skills: Professional experience with photo shooting and editing required.¿

Professional experience with international organizations desirable.¿

Academic Qualifications: University degree desirable.¿

Experience: At least 3-year professional experience in related fields required.¿

Language: Fluency in Japanese required. Working knowledge of English required.¿

The payment includes travel cost.¿ ¿

The contractor is expected to arrange the travel on its own.¿¿

The contractor is expected to prepare all necessary equipment on its own.¿¿
