Result of Service Well organised administration of the Office of the Head, APCTT by maintaining calendar, schedules, and coordination of meetings within ESCAP and with external stakeholders. Support in liaising with all stakeholders in an effective dignified. confidential, and discretionary manner.

Duties and Responsibilities Under the guidance of the Head, APCTT, the Individual Contractor will ensure effective and efficient functioning of the Office of the Head, full confidentiality in all aspects of assignment, maintenance of protocol procedures, management of information flow and follow-up on deadlines and commitments made. The Individual Contractor is expected to perform the following functions: - Assists in the coordination of programme/project planning and preparation work, monitors status of programme/project proposals and receipt of relevant documentation for review and approval. - Serves as a focal point for administrative coordination of programme/project implementation activities, involving extensive liaison with a diverse organizational unit to initiate requests, process, and follow-up on administrative actions, e.g. travel arrangements, trainings, study tours and organising events. - Provides general office assistance; responds to complex information requests and inquiries; reviews, logs and routes incoming correspondence; sets up and maintains files/records; organizes meetings, and workshops. - Manage meeting schedule and calendar of the Head of Office. - Prepare minutes of the meetings and follow-up on the required action points. - Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/special skills A first level or higher university degree in business administration, accounts, finance, office management or any other related areas. A minimum of at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in support function and office administration or related areas. Experience of working in the United Nations or international organisations in a similar role is desirable.

Languages - An excellent command of the English language and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.

Additional Information IC assignment duration: Four months Fee: INR. 90,000 per month
