Review and assess ASEAN–EAEU digital economy study reports for clarity and relevance.
You have:
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in economics, international development, environmental policy, sustainable finance, or a related field. A PhD is an asset.
- At least 7 years of experience in digital economy development, economic policy analysis, sustainable development, or regional cooperation.
- Proven experience in reviewing and editing policy reports or technical studies, with a focus on analytical rigor, clarity, and policy relevance.
- Demonstrated ability to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement in complex policy documents.
- Familiarity with ASEAN and/or EAEU institutional frameworks, regional priorities, and cooperation mechanisms.
- Experience working with or for international organizations, government agencies, or regional bodies on development-related initiatives.
- Knowledge of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its application in regional contexts.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and synthesize diverse inputs into coherent recommendations.
- Fluency of English is required.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Head of SROSEA, the responsibilities are: • Review the full draft of the ASEAN–EAEU digital economy study/report, including annexes and data sources. • Assess the structure, coherence, and clarity of the narrative. • Evaluate the relevance, accuracy, and robustness of data, analysis, and policy recommendations. • Ensure balanced representation of ASEAN and EAEU contexts. • Provide written feedback and suggested revisions. • Participate in virtual consultations with ESCAP and stakeholders, as required.
