The Data Processing Assistant is responsible for recording data promptly and accurately into database as well as building relationships with supporters via delivering different communication materials.

Major Tasks, Deliverables & Timeframe:

Processing entries:

Accurately enter information into database in a timely manner and carry out all activities related to the routine operation of the database.

1.1 Support in 2021 digital & TM &house campaigns’ data import work.

1.2 Consolidate financial data and submit related reports.

1.3 Assist in new database function development project.

1.4 Proceed data cleaning campaigns launching.

1.5 Raise any data-related issues to supervisor.

Donor communication:

Delivery donor care materials timely.

2.1 conduct email campaigns as per plan.

2.2 Send Wechat message as per office plan.

2.3 Follow up creative design or adapt layout for above materials.

2.4 Prepare related sending reports.

2.5 Assist in cms platform setup project.

General administration:

Provide administrative support to the unit as requested, such as typing, translation, filing, faxing, photocopying, etc.

Methodology & Expected Output:

Work in UNICEF’s office in Beijing on working days to process information entry and answer inquiries from UNICEF supporters. 20 days per month, The contractor is eligible for 1.5 days of paid leave per month in addition to UN holidays. Details please find from following major task/deliverables and timeframe.

  • Minimum Academic Qualifications required and disciplines:

    A bachelor’s degree from a college or university, or other comparable education.

  • Knowledge/Experience/Expertise/Skills required:

  1. Native Mandarin Chinese skills, reading and writing. Good command of spoken English and working knowledge of written English.
  2. Experience in using Microsoft Office applications.
  3. Attention to detail and an analytical mind.
  4. Good initiative, ability to conceptualize and come up with improvement suggestions.
  5. Excellent organizational skills
  6. Ability to work in teams and independently.
  7. Exceptional customer service attitude.

Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
