You have:
- Demonstrated understanding of child rights and related advocacy mechanisms.
- Experience in communications and advocacy strategies.
- Ability to produce high-quality written materials and pitches.
- Educational qualification in a related field (e.g., Communication, Social Sciences, etc.).
- Familiarity with UNICEF and its objectives on child rights.

- An updated CV, demonstrating all the requirements stated above
- A cover letter (max 2 pages) outlining understanding of the scope and activities, motivation to undertake it and demonstrating fit for the assignment.
- A recent writing sample not exceeding 700 words in MS Word. (Note by submitting a writing sample, the consultant confirms this is their original work. If it is found not to be original work, this will be grounds for non-selection.)
- A pitch note on communications & advocacy ideas for YuWaah (Presentation with not more than 5 slides).

The technical evaluation criteria (70 points in total) will be split as follows:
- Educational Qualification -10 Marks
- Relevant Experience -15 Marks
- Technical knowledge and skills -20 Marks
Overall cut-off marks is 36. The candidates who score 36 marks and above will be considered technically responsive and will be shortlisted for the interview
- Interview (minimum score 20 for qualifying)-25 Marks
Total technical score -70 Marks
- Financial Proposal-30 Marks
Total technical and financial score -100 Marks
Candidates who score the minimum 56 marks out of 70 and also meet the minimum cut-off in the interview, will be considered technically qualified and their financial offers will be opened
- The candidate receiving maximum score after combining their Technical and Financial score will be selected for the consultancy.
- Any attempt to unduly influence UNICEF's selection process will lead to automatic disqualification of the applicant.
- Joint applications of two or more individuals are not accepted.
