You have:
- A high school diploma is required.
- A minimum of two years of work experience in projects with international organization.
- Excellent inter-personal, analytical and drafting skills required.
- Ability to generate reports and presentations that include graphs, maps and tables required.
- Knowledge / experience working with international or civil society organizations desirable.
- Experience working in Africa required.
- Fluency in oral and written English is required.
- Knowledge of another United Nations Language is an advantage.
Result of Service - Coordinated CCP units in the region. - Terms of Reference for required works on premises and equipment for setting up CCP units is developed. - Meetings are organized. - Training activities. - Quarterly reports combined.
Work Location Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Expected duration 1 March 2023 to 30 November 2023
Duties and Responsibilities The assignment will be carried out under the overall guidance of the Representative, Regional Office for East Africa (ROEA) and under the direct supervision of the Regional Coordinator of the Container Control Programme. The individual contractor will also liaise with other members of the CCP team responsible for the coordination of this work. More specifically, the individual contractor will perform the following tasks:
•Engage with all involved parties in the implementation of CCP programme activities. - Participate in online meetings and videocalls with partners for the purpose of coordinating on the possible areas of support, and for note-taking and minutes; - Support training activities organised under the Programme; - Development of terms of reference for equipment needed for CCP partners and related activities; - Provide administrative support to the Coordinator and CCP team.

Languages English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this post, fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of another United Nations Language is an advantage.
