Overview

Review and evaluate Kenya Nutrition Action Plan 2018-2022 for UNICEF.

You have:

  • Advanced university degree in Public Nutrition, Public Health, Epidemiology, Demography, Statistics, Development studies, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
  • Over five years' experience in qualitative and quantitative monitoring and evaluation approaches.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of health and nutrition including programming and implementation of nutrition programmes in developing countries.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
  • Proficiency in use of relevant computer applications including data management and analysis applications.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and professional skills in interacting with government and development, implementing partners and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and report writing skills.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

    1. Education: Academic qualifications and required level of education.
    • Advanced university degree in Public Nutrition, Public Health, Epidemiology, Demography, Statistics, Development studies, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
    1. Specialist skills/Training:
    • Proficiency in use of relevant computer applications including data management and analysis applications
    • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and professional skills in interacting with government and development, implementing partners and other stakeholders.
    • Excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and report writing skills
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Highly motivated and committed to core values of professionalism, accountability, courage in action, integrity and teamwork.
    1. Years of experience:
    • Over five years’ experience in qualitative and quantitative monitoring and evaluation approaches.
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of health and nutrition including programming and implementation of nutrition programmes in developing countries.
    • Demonstrate experience in program reviews, assessments and/or evaluations.
    1. Competencies:
    • Excellent command of English, both written and oral
    • Ability to work independently and in teams within a multi-cultural environment

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
