UNICEF supports the Togolese government through a five-year action programme aligned with the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) and the National Development Program (PND). The current programme (2019-2023) includes the following interrelated elements: child survival, education and development, child protection, social inclusion, programme and operational effectiveness. Operational effectiveness includes the following units: Human Resources, Finance & Accounting; Information and Communication Technologies, Supply & Logistics and Administration.

UNICEF Togo country office is seeking a dedicated team member for the position of Implementing Partnership Management Officer (NO-B).

The Implementing Partnership Management Officer provides professional financial, operational, and administrative assistance throughout the programming process by preparing, managing and/or executing a variety of technical and administrative tasks to facilitate the effective implementation of HACT in line with the UNICEF HACT Policy and UNICEF HACT procedure.

You are familiar with the humanitarian development context of TOGO. You are capable to think and act strategically. You have a strong drive to achieve results for impact. You know how to make innovative proposals and take initiatives. You have a high sense of planning and very good interpersonal skills.

You have a convincing work experience in the following activities: a) Support to HACT planning during the programming process, b)Support to implementation of assurance activities, c)Review and use of HACT reports, d)Networking and inter-agency partnership, e)Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • A university degree in one of the following fields is required: Development studies, International Development, Business Administration, Financial Management, Economics, Auditing, Project/Programme Management, or another relevant technical field.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: programme development/management, financial planning and management, or another related area.
  • Experience working in a developing country is considered as an asset.
  • Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
  • Fluency in French and English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
