How can you make a difference?

Under the supervision and guidance of the supervisor, the Implementation Assistant supports the Social Protection – Cash Transfers by carrying out a range of programme support functions to help develop, implement and monitor their country programme, ensuring effective and timely delivery that is consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations.

The Implementation Assistant works in close collaboration with a range of staff in the CO, external partners and agency counterparts in support of programme design and delivery. S/He provides regular feedback on the status of projects through monitoring milestones and advises on improvements to keep activities on track.

  • UNICEF helpline day to day operations supervision and support including referrals, payments troubleshooting.
  • Monitor and evaluate agent performance, providing learning or coaching opportunities, and taking corrective action, if necessary.
  • Monitor and Evaluate helpline technical performance against established key metrics.
  • Coordination with UNICEF different sections for the utilization of the helpline services, through data collection activities, information dissemination and briefing sessions.
  • Coordination with UNICEF different sections on feedback, complains, referrals and inquiries through the UNICEF Helpline and ensure closing the loop of communication.
  • Develop regular analytical reports on UNICEF’s helpline trends and populations feedback.
  • Cash Transfer support including troubleshooting of grievances, complains and referrals.
  • Cards distribution and verification, cash lists support,
  • Humanitarian cash transfer payments monitoring and data collection coordination.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • Education: Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization.
  • Experience: A minimum of five years of projects implementation and support is required. Prior experience in programme support in accountability and feedback mechanisms functions is an asset.Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
