MDF requires a volunteer who will have to identify non-technical barriers to the use of recycled materials and draft a framework to overcome them. In the quest to achieve the same, the volunteer will have to review the freely available literature, write a short report (3000 words max.) which includes gaps found, and a defined innovative and robust framework to overcome such barriers.

    With regard to Sustainable Development Goal 12: responsible consumption and production, the project aims to increase the use of recycled materials to contribute to the circular economy. An ample amount of research data related to technological developments of recycled materials is available, but there is a deficiency of data related to its actual use. So with this project, an attempt will be made to identify and bridge such gaps.

  • Volunteers: 1 needed

  • 1-5 hours per week / 2 weeks

    Candidates must be capable to carry out independent research and should be aware of research methodologies. Knowledge related to policy development, stakeholders' contribution, and managerial implication are essential. Besides, technical knowledge related to mechanical processes, research tools like Mendeley, OriginLab, and Microsoft office package is desirable. Post-graduates are encouraged to apply.
