Bring your hard earned experience rolling-out and running device management (InTune) deployments at scale to some of the most challenging environments and work with a small but fun multinational team of committed and mission-driven IT professionals.

ICT plays an increasingly vital role in helping NRC fulfil its mission to assist people displaced by crises ranging from conflict to climate across more than 40 countries worldwide. Digital tools and processes, automation, and analytics are key enablers of NRC’s strategy and work. Critical to this is NRC’s ability to secure systems, applications and the data these process, to ensure privacy, confidentiality and avoid causing digital harm. As part of the current strategy, NRC is addressing issues regarding data collection and data processing, including the devices and systems that are used to do so. The ICT Endpoint Management Lead will play a fundamental role with regards to this work and will work in the global ICT Development Section.

At organisational level, the global ICT Development Section is based at the Oslo Head Office and provides an array of services including vendor selection, setting policies and procedures for common practices, rolling out new systems, system administration, 2nd-line technical support to the 100+ field ICT staff based in over 40 countries worldwide as well as providing day-to-day ICT support of the circa 250 Head Office staff.

Role

In order to improve security and consistency as well as to reduce manual workload and streamline operations, NRC will roll out InTune for end-point management across the entire organisation. This is a large and complex project which the selected person will be responsible for guiding in a technical lead role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide scope input and resource, time and cost estimates to project management
  • Select, implement, and maintain policies (settings) in the selected tool(s)
  • Create and maintain documentation and standard procedures, including for onboarding remote users
  • Monitor alerts and policy compliance to assess ongoing needs and risks
  • Support global ICT with issues related to the End-Point Management solution
  • Incident management regarding the selected solution
  • Change management as the solution is deployed and the configuration matures
  • Provide technical input to licencing decisions
  • Participate in the training and support of regional and country ICT
  • Perform periodic audits of country level roll-out and deployment of policies
  • Act as technical contact for the vendor

We are looking for

  • Has deployed endpoint solutions in a multi-country environment (In-Tune knowledge and experience will be considered an asset)
  • Project management or Technical Lead experience on multiple deployed projects
  • Administration of device management at scale in a diverse technology landscape
  • Familiarity with information security standards such as CIS or ISO27001
  • English, both written and spoken (additional languages will be considered an asset)
