- University Level courses in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics and Social Sciences are desirable.
- A minimum of 6 years of work experience in IT or a related field is required.
- 3 years of progressively responsible working experience in Azure Cloud, Azure managed resources, Azure App service.
- Working experience of DNS and custom domains.
- Understanding of Azure technologies such as Azure AD, Azure AD integration, B2C and directory synchronizations in general.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian) is desirable.
Contract

The ICT Associate (Learning Passport) is part of the Application Platforms and Services (APS) Unit under the ICTD Platforms and Service Delivery (PSD) Section in Valencia, Digital Core. The APS Unit is the global architecture and engineering lead for UNICEF’s global Identity and Access, Mobility and Cloud Platforms Services portfolio and it serves both UNICEF and UNICEF Hosted Funds.
This position will report to the ICT Specialist (Identity and Access Management) at the P-3 level.
How can you make a difference?
The ICT Associate (Learning Passport) will support the ICT Specialist in the deployment and management of Learning Passport instances, including configuration, maintenance, fault monitoring and performance.
Key responsibilities:
• Contribute to the deployment and management of Learning Passport instances on Microsoft Azure Cloud on a day-by-day basis as per the deployment plan and requests from the Learning passport team.
• Review submitted tickets and requests, coordinate with the Learning Passport focal point the implementation and resolution of tickets.
• Consolidate requests requiring technical reviews and discuss with the ICT Specialist for validation and responses.
• Monitor Learning Passport instances health. Perform troubleshooting and configuration changes to align with capacity requirements and feature enablement.
• Identify improvements to Learning Passport deployment documentation, processes, procedures, and tickets handling.
• Participate in the weekly briefings and brainstorming sessions with the Learning Passport team to collect the ideas for analysis and guidance to the improvement of implementation decisions.
• Research products and new technologies to increase efficiency of business and operations.
• Provide assistance and support to implement Learning Passport instances as required.
Duration of Contract
This Temporary Appointment is for an anticipated duration of 364 days.
