Overview

Position: ICLA Team Leader

Reports to: ICLA Project Manager

Supervision of: ICLA Officers, ICLA Technical Assistants

Duty station: Derna, Libya (responding to Benghazi and Ajdabiya)

Travel: 40% Domestically outside of duty station based on programme needs and/or occasionally to Tunis

Background

As a part of its assistance in Libya, NRC provides information, counselling and legal assistance (ICLA) services to empower beneficiaries and support them to claim and exercise their rights.

  1. Role and responsibilities

The ICLA Team Leader will be responsible for the implementation of ICLA projects in the Area Office, ensuring the supervision and coordination of ICLA staff in day to day activities, the regular reporting to ICLA Project Manager, the representation of NRC ICLA Programme and liaison with relevant authorities and other stakeholders in the area.
