The purpose of the ICLA Team Leader is to implement the delegated ICLA Activity at the field level, manage ICLA staff and ensure capacity building to the ICLA team for the smooth operation of day-to-day field activity.

Key Task and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Coordinator in getting access to different camps
  • Participate in Different meetings organized by the CIC office or Union Parishad Level
  • Support ICLA Officer in preparing their Field report
  • Perform frequent visits to targeted locations together with the ICLA team
  • Represent the ICLA project in various coordination forums and working groups at the camp level
  • Perform any other tasks as Assigned by Management
  • Conduct ICLA-specific technical assessment and present recommendations
  • Conduct ICLA-specific technical research and document findings and recommendations
  • Contribute to organizational learning through the provision of specific technical analysis, lessons learned, and reports

Key Education and Skills Requirements

  • 02 years of experience working with ICLA or a similar project implementation position in an NGO/development context
  • Master’s degree in Law, social science, or any other relevant subject from a reputed University
  • Experience working in the field with displaced and/or vulnerable groups and communities
  • Understanding of laws and regulations related to refugees and vulnerable and marginalized groups
  • Previous experience in the Rohingya response is an advantage
  • Experience with program start-up
  • Excellent written and spoken Bangla, English
  • Oral proficiency in Chattertonian and/or Rohingya is desirable
