You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, social or development studies, management, and related major
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in related to education, learning management, or capacity development facilitation
  • Experience in facilitating or co-facilitating learning activities, assessment programs, and graduation process
  • Relevant experience in utilizing e-learning platforms to facilitate blended learning programs
  • Experience in providing administrative support to professor/lead instructor to ensure the success of learning journey, including report development
  • Fluency in Bahasa and English with excellent written communication/copywriting skills

BACKGROUND UNDP Indonesia, in partnership with the Tanoto Foundation and the Ministry of National Development Planning, establishes the SDG Academy Indonesia to develop capacities of state and non-state actors and leaders from various stakeholders, in the mission of accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) relevant to their context. The Academy aims at strengthening not only the stakeholders’ knowledge about SDGs but also their leadership and managerial skills needed to solve various SDG issues, through the SDG Leadership Certification Programs, the SDG Mobile Learning Programs, and the SDG Study Abroad Program.

To start the first intake of the SDG Leadership Certification Program, a lead instructor, learning assistant, and several mentors are needed. This TOR concerns on the learning assistant role to support the Lead Instructor on the day to day learning administration as well as facilitating several activities within the scheduled programs. Learning assistant is a crucial role to ensure the success of learning journey of the SDG Leadership Certification Program by preparing, assisting the learning activities and assessment, and suggesting continuous improvement efforts for the program.

An individual with background of learning management, education administration, and capacity development facilitation is desirable to fill in this position. The position will be a full-time and office based in the SDG Academy Indonesia Campus, located at the Jalan Teluk Betung No. 33, Jakarta Pusat.

Duties and Responsibilities

Scope of Work:

1. Ensuring readiness of learning journey for each batch

  • Ensuring all participants listed confirm their attendance
  • Checking learning materials and assessment tools are prepared
  • Preparing participants’ kit

2. Assisting the Lead Instructor to facilitate learning activities and assessment

  • Coordinate closely with the Lead Instructor for anything, including administration, needed for the learning activities and assessment
  • Coordinate closely with all the mentors for anything, including administration, needed for the coaching and mentoring process
  • Coordinate closely with all best practice’s speakers for anything, including administration, needed for best practices sharing session under the SDG Leadership Certification Program
  • Coordinate closely with all panellists, including administration, needed for the for the SDG Academy Indonesia’s Colloquium
  • Facilitating participants’ inquiry related to the implementation process of the SDG Leadership Certification Program
  • Collect, analyse, and report assessment process under the SDG Leadership Certification Program
  • Assisting the graduation process, including administration, from preparation to execution
  • Ensuring names of the participants are correctly written for the Certificate.

3. Provision of learning journey report for each batch

  • Collect, analyse, and report program evaluation from participants of each batch
  • Suggest notes for improvement for the next implementation cycle of the SDG Leadership Certification Program
