  • IT skills; Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel etc. is desirable.

Humanitarian Mine Action Team Lead

Tripoli

About the job:

Your main duties are listed below and may be revised as necessary:

  • Conduct EO Risk Education in targeted communities following the operational plan as prepared.
  • Collect data (community information, victims, accidents, and any other information relevant to the project) from targeted communities
  • Conduct interviews in the community for the purpose of impact/KAP/need assessments.
  • Conduct community liaison activities in the targeted communities.
  • Support the NTS and EOD teams to conduct EORE sessions in targeted locations
  • Participate to the organization of public awareness campaign
  • Participate in the elaboration, testing and dissemination of Information, Educational and Communication (IEC) materials to support EORE activities, including identification of new IEC needs.
  • Report to the PM all needs in equipment and tools identified on the field
  • Report any specific problems that jeopardize the activities and participate in finding solutions
  • Accurately fill and submit requested reports to the Humanitarian Mine Action Project Manager (IMSMA forms for education, accident and victims, and Weekly report). in dates and time that will be specified.
  • The Humanitarian Mine Action Team Lead reports to the Humanitarian Mine Action Project Manager on all matters.
  • Drive DRC cars during operational time
  • Support any other HMA activities when required.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as required by their Line Manager
