You have:

  • Proven ability to produce engaging reports, presentations and outreach materials.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other official UN languages, preferably French and/or Spanish, is desirable.

Contract

This is a P-3 contract. This kind of contract is known as Professional and Director staff. It is normally internationally recruited only. It's a staff contract. It usually requires 5 years of experience, depending on education.

Salary

The salary for this job should be between 131,084 USD and 171,644 USD.

The international rate of 74,649 USD, with an additional 75.6% (post adjustment) at this the location, applies. Please note that depending on the location, a higher post adjustment might still result in a lower purchasing power.

The Position:

As a member of the HR Client Services and Outreach Team, you will reach out to and cultivate partnerships with relevant multilateral and bilateral development organizations, non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, professional networks, donors and potential donors with the view to enriching the provision of human resources services to the UNFPA workforce. You will report directly to the HR Adviser, Talent Acquisition.

Job Purpose: The Partnerships and Outreach Specialist works closely with the HR Adviser, Talent Acquisition and the HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to network and build partnerships with a broad range of external stakeholders, donors and other relevant organizations to enhance the pool of highly qualified talent made available to UNFPA through various partnership arrangements, staff exchanges and special bilateral staffing programmes. The Specialist also advocates for the UNFPA HR function as a possible recipient of donor support, including through special staffing programmes, to be able to better fulfil its role in supporting the achievement of UNFPA’s mandate and strategic goals.

Requirements:
