Support HR processes and manage recruitment files.

You have:

• Master degree or equivalent.
• Law, Human Resource, Psychology, social science.
• 24 Months experience in human resources management.
• Fluent in French.
• Working Knowledge of English.

Contract

This is a UNV International Specialist contract. This kind of contract is known as International UN Volunteer. It is normally internationally recruited only. More about UNV International Specialist contracts.

Description of task

Under the direct supervision of Operations Manager, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:

• Support the Human Resources Unit in processing current recruitment files and recruitments to be published on the UNDP website;
• Perform an initial screening and register the application files in accordance with the criteria defined in the terms of reference;

• Participate in the pre-selection / selection sessions (long list / short list) of the recruitment committee and write the reports;

• Assist in the selection process of local staff (collect applications, complete and enter data in the appropriate selection tables, participate in the organization of sessions (preselection, writ-ten test & interviews, and support document verification to be submitted to the CRP (for FTA recruitments);

• Write the preselection CRs, written tests & interviews;
• Make vendor requests for new officials;
• Assist the Human Resources Unit in the classification of files on Directives, recruitment files, training etc .;

• Receive staff absence documents no later than the 5th of each month, check their compliance and file;

• Perform any other task (s) assigned to him.

• Archive the completed staff files. from UNDP and sister agencies administered by UNDP.

Required degree level:

Master degree or equivalent

Good knowledge of human resources management, UNDP procedures will be an asset,
