You have:
- Experience in a relevant Health & Safety position in a humanitarian/recovery context.
- Proficiency in English both written and verbal.
- Good translation skill (Myanmar/English).
- Health, Safety and Security related training completion certificate.
- Graduate with a relevant degree or equivalent 2 years of experience in similar positions.
- Ability to take initiative in diverse environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Report to: HSS Manager

Generic professional competencies:
- Experience from working as a relevant Health & Safety and relevant position in a humanitarian/ recovery context
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
- Sufficient English proficiency both written and verbal
- Good translation skill (Myanmar/English)
- Received have Health, Safety and Security related training completion certificate
- Graduate with relevant degree (or) equivalent 2 years of working experience as similar positions at other organizations.

Responsibilities
What you will do
- Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
- Implement delegated support function portfolio according to plan of action
- Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
- Ensure proper filing of documents
- Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function
- Immediately report all breaches of safety procedures and all threats to NRC staff, beneficiaries, activities or assets
- Liaise with UN agencies, NGOs and other external actors to gain safety information.
- Ensure vehicle and staff movements are monitored according to procedures and that necessary safety equipment are available and in good condition.
