Result of Service The HR Digital Lead Consultant (ERP and People Analytics) carries out her/his mandate by transforming data and analysis into insights and recommendations to inform the strategic direction of ICAO’s people strategy. The incumbent will be the lead in ensuring existing and future business needs are met and will ensure ICAO evolves, enhances and maintains the ERP solution after go-live. The incumbent reports directly to the HR Specialist (Talent and Organizational Development).

Expected duration The duration of this assignment is 11 months, with possibility of extension.

Duties and Responsibilities Within delegated authority, the HR Digital Lead Consultant will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Establishing ERP needs via business process analysis and consultation;
  • Analysing existing infrastructure and performing system enhancements;
  • Developing user-friendly functionalities and interfaces;
  • Locate and define new data analysis process improvement opportunities;
  • Identify appropriate data sources for people analytics projects;
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality;
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across HR sections and other Bureaus and Offices to promote data governance and stewardship and to improve overall strategic and operational data generation and analyses;
  • Support the development and implementation of people analytics projects; from framing the problems, identifying the measures, running advanced analytics, and interpreting the results;
  • Introduce new dashboards, data policies, and business intelligence tools to improve the quantity and quality of information and key performance indicators (KPIs) to be used as a solid and comprehensive basis for proactive management decisions;
  • Translate organizational needs into analytics and reporting requirements to support decisions, strategies, and workflows with data and information;
  • Conduct regular data quality assurance to ensure personnel data is accurate across corporate systems and address any inconsistencies with relevant focal points.

    Qualifications/special skills Education:

Essential

Advanced university degree (Master's degree or academic equivalent) in computer science, data science, analytics, statistics, information management, public administration, management or a related field. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in applied analytics, business intelligence, information management, statistics, project management, stakeholder management or related area is required.
  • Experience in using data to inform decisions, strategies and execution is required.
  • Experience with self-service analytics and data visualization applications (MS Power BI, Qlik, Tableau or similar), or business intelligence tools (SAP Business Objects, etc.) is required.
  • Experience with ERP Systems is required
  • Experience with database or programming languages (SQL, Python, R) is desirable.
  • Experience with tools which manage version control, such as Git is desirable.

    Languages Essential Fluent reading, writing and speaking abilities in English are essential.

Desirable A working knowledge of a second language of the Organization (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish).
