You have:
- Experience in HR generalist roles or similar, especially in compliance and Norwegian labour laws.
- Ability to manage time registration systems and support staff with their registration needs.
- Strong knowledge of onboarding processes, particularly for non-Norwegian employees.
- Proficiency in writing and managing employment contracts.
- Familiarity with vacation, sick leave, and maternity/paternity regulations in Norway.

The HR coordinator is responsible for assuring compliance with all HO HR administration routines and guidelines, and support NRC as an employer to be aligned with Norwegian labour laws. The HR Coordinator will provide HR generalist support, and maintain and update HR information for HO staff.
Responsibilities
Provide up to 10 responsibilities that would apply generally to this type of job (for example, all project managers in country field operations, or all finance controllers in head office). Also include the standard required generic responsibilities listed below.
- Ensure onboarding new staff - ensure onboarding of non norwegians, including Contribute to development of onboarding routines in general, particularly non-norwegians
- Day to day support to staff and managers in questions related to HR Stay updated on AML – ie vacation regulations, sick leave regulations, maternity, paternity etc Stay updated on all relevant changes to the regulations
- Back-up for the other HR Coordinators
- Manage, maintain and further develop time registration system for HO staff and support staff with their timesheet registration when needed
- Support The Head of HO HR & Office Admin and HR Advisors in order to ensure good implementation of HR initiatives
- Write contracts to all HO staff and register these in NRC’s internal HR systems Electronic filing in p-file
