Job Description

Job Overview:

Under the direct supervision of the Senior HR/Admin Officer, the HR/Admin Assistant supports the office operation by updating workday data on the platform provided and performing a variety of administrative task to ensure high quality and accuracy of work in the HR/Admin Department.

Major Responsibilities:

- Recording accurate data for IRC Ethiopia staff - HR/Admin department database management - Support the HR/Admin department in different administrative tasks - Ensures all staff detail information is filled as requested on the platform and make sure the information is accurately filled. - Follow up with field office HR teams for information that needs to be filled - Follow up all staffs’ personnel file in Addis and field office, to make sure documents are fulfilled according to the checklist and filed properly. - Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor to support the HR/Admin Department.

Key Working Relationships:

Internal: HR/Admin staff in Addis, Field HR team members, Regional HR System Support Team

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Education qualification:

- Diploma or Degree in Business studies, Information Technology/Computer Science - At least 1 year work experience in relation to data management

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

- Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Word and Excel - Experience managing Workday data is a plus - Ability to work fast with high level of accuracy and under pressure - Good communication skill - Excellent time management and organizing skill - Fluent in English and Amharic both speaking and writing
