Purpose of Activity/Assignment

Supporting recruitment of consultants related to the Italian migrant emergency, Additionally, provide support on learning activities.

Scope of work

Under the supervision of the Regional HR Manager, the consultant will support the Regional HR Team with the recruitments for the consultants of ECARO’s O/P Rome, Italy:

  • Create in TMS the appropriate requisitions for consultant
  • Advertise approved consultancies as per endorsed TORs
  • Conduct the longlist and sharing it with the hiring manager with 3 days SLA following the VA closure date.

Additionally, the consultant will be supporting ECARO HR with 1 training for staff and Strength Mapping in Moldova CO.

-Create and send invitations

-Monitor participation and provide technical support

HR SpecialistCreation of communication e-mails with updates provided by DHR (3 days)

Monitor participation on the ALP presentation

Release of final learning blocks to participants

Send certificates to participants that conclude the programme

From September to October 2023Administrative support for Strength Mapping in Moldova CO:

-Set up licenses within the platforms

-Provide technical support to participants

-Generate and share reports

-Create and share invites for online briefing calls

Consultant’s Workplace and Official Travel

This is a home-based consultancy contract with no travel.

Estimated Cost of the Consultancy & Payment Schedule

Payment will be made on submission of an invoice and satisfactory completion of the above-mentioned deliverables. UNICEF reserves the right to withhold all or a portion of payment if performance is unsatisfactory, if work/outputs are incomplete, not delivered or for failure to meet deadlines.

Please propose a lumpsum professional fee (in USD) based on 34 working days.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required

  • First university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business or Public Administration, Administrative Law, Sociology, Psychology and related fields
  • At least five years of experience in HR, specifically covering recruitment, administration of individual consultants and contractors, data analysis. UNICEF working experience with the knowledge of TMS is highly desired.
  • Fluency in written and oral English language is required

Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
