Palm oil and coffee processing is an attractive option in potential palm nut and coffee growing communities in Cameroon, as palm nut and coffee offers huge scope for value addition and market demand. It can also create employment for many unemployed youths. We have received appeals from local palm nuts and coffee farmers expressing their inability to store fresh palm nuts and coffee fruits they have harvested from their farms. They are forced to sell them at relatively cheaper prices inquiring huge loses. They think that if value is added to the palm nuts and coffee via processing, it would help increase their revenues and provide employment to many youths in the community. it would also help to reduce the intensive labor associated with the traditional method of processing palm nuts and coffee, currently used by local farmers.

We are seeking the help of 8 online volunteers to assist our research team in writing grant proposals for projects to mitigate the impact of the socio-political crisis affecting the north west and south west regions of Cameroon.. Online volunteers should be skilled writers in English, and previous experience in grant writing and research is preferred. All work will be overseen by the lead researcher and the project coordinator. Online won't be asked to contact any third parties.
