Learn to serve Community of Tanzania (LESCOTA) is looking for support of online volunteers with strong proficiency in managing and/or have experience with non-profit online fundraising platforms. We are planning to use online fundraising platforms effectively and raise funds for us to continue construction of our Mango pre and primary English medium school in a rural village of Matekela, Tanzania. The volunteers will advise us how to use the chosen fundraising platform effectively and guide us in developing the fundraising strategy. The online volunteers will not submit funding requests on behalf of the organization. The volunteers will work with the program director and provide advice on developing a fundraising strategy. They must have strong teamwork skills. All meetings and communications will be done via Skype, whatsapp and email exchange.

    As we strive to build a Mango pre and primary school in a rural Tanzania the communication and fundraising task will help us network with more donors and contributors that would result us secure more funding for the completion of the construction we have initiated. We have completed the construction of four classrooms, four staff rooms block and eight latrine block. Volunteers will contribute towards construction of four more classrooms, two dormitories and kitchen at the school and help us serve 250 children when it is completed unlike 60 pupils enrolled up to moment.

    We are in need of committed volunteers and who have teamwork, strong communication and fundraising skills. We are expecting to recruit the followings:- Engagers: Individuals who will interact, talk and nurture relationships. Connectors: Individuals who can leverage networks and make valuable introductions. Askers: Individuals who understand the skills and timing necessary to ask for the donation. Stewards: Individuals who communicate with and nurture ongoing donors and promote the relationships.
