In the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza, NRC’s work includes emergency preparedness and response, education, ICLA, protection, shelter, and WASH.

The purpose of the HSS Officer’s position is to support implementation of NRC activities in the Gaza Area Office of Palestine.

The HSS Officer supports the Area Office to ensure the safety and security of NRC staff and assets in Gaza, through the implementation of relevant policies and procedures, assist identifying risk management measures and putting them in place.
